What does it look like to take responsibility for the world we've inherited?
We cannot ignore the signs - our world faces ongoing ecological and cultural degradation. We will no longer watch without acting. Our future will depend on the understanding that we are not separate from nature, but one and the same. We left the life we knew behind to hike from Georgia to Maine along the Appalachian Trail in search of others who wonder - How can we create a vibrant and thriving world worth sharing with those who will follow after? To change our culture, we must change our story. |
Post-production
We're working on turning over 200 hours of video footage into a feature length documentary. Your contributions can help us get there. |
The Hike
In February 2016 we left Amicalola Falls in Georgia. 2,189.1 miles later we made it to the final summit of the Appalachian Trail in Maine on a cold and windy day. We couldn't have done it without the love and generous support of family, friends, and the people we met along the trail.
In addition to creating a documentary about our experience, we shared our journey on Instagram and Facebook. Check out our pages for photos and thoughts along the way.
